Always refer to the owners manual in the glove box. In the book you will see the recommended fluid change intervals for all your fluids. They are recommended by mileage for normal driving, but if you drive hard or do severe driving and a lot of stop and go, then change the fluids more often. Check Transmission fluid on the dipstip and look for a nice pinkish red color and no burn smell.

I suggest to change transmission fluid every 2 - 3 times u change engine oil, depends on which is often u do, drive or idle, if drive then u can choose every 3 times. How often do I need to change the transmission fluid in my car?
change it every 50000-60000 but make sure you check it every oil change (3000 miles) and look for chunks on the dipstick, any burning smells or odd colors. How often do I need to change the transmission fluid in my car?
Every 50,000 miles or so is recomended.
