How do i change the transmission fluid in a 99 chevy malibu?

How hard is this to actually do and will i need and any special tools? How do i change the transmission fluid in a 99 chevy malibu?
if you have to ask, chances are you shouldn't change it. if you know a mechanic in the neighborhood they might be willing to help you out.

(i assume you're wanting to do this for fun, rather than to save money?)

mostly it takes like a 1/2%26quot; wrench, just drop the drain pan on the bottom, replace the filter, scrape off the old seal, put on a new one.

add fluid, let it run for a while n' check for leaks.

if you want to do a complete flush you can buy trans fluid in gallon jugs, and pull both the lines off the cooler, and put hoses on them, put the intake hose into the new fluid, and the other one into a empty jug, then start the car and let it drink the new fluid, but remember to keep a very close eye on all this. How do i change the transmission fluid in a 99 chevy malibu?
you have to flush the transmission, in the long run it would be cheaper and faster to take it to a shop it will run you around 50$ and it will be done right.
