Is there a plug on the pan and if so where, or do you need to take the pan off which looks like a painHow do you change the transmission fluid on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra?
you will be a lot better off letting a shop do this one the pans aren't hat hard to get off but the mess that it will make and the pan is sometimes hard to get to seal back up ,if a transmission shop does it their liable for it,and it doesn't cost that much to get one done at good reputable shop these days, good luckHow do you change the transmission fluid on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra?
Unless you find a pan with a plug, you wont be able to effectivly replace all the fluid. Just take it to a tranny shop. Todays car are not like the old days, when most repairs could be done in your garage. Save yourself time and aggrivation, and just take it to a shop.
