I bought a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 4.0 liter automatic. It has no owners manual with it and I would like to change the fluid.What kind of transmission fluid do I need and how much?
Drop the pan and change the filter. Reinstall the pan and put 4 qts ATF in the tranny. Start engine and check the level on the tranny dipstick. Add fluid to bring the level to the low mark on the stick. Drive the truck about 15 minutes and recheck the level. Fill to the full hot mark on the stick%26gt;
