How can I fix my 1997 Dodge Intrepid's transmission with a fluid change and a pair of plyers?

My car shifts harder then when I got it, which could be all the miles it has(151,500). But when I got the car it was fine I couldnt feel it shift barely at all and it had (128,000) then. I try not to beat the car but sometimes I need to pass and I kick it down one more gear then I would like, and I have burnt out 4 times with the car but twice were because the roads were wet and I had bald tires. But I ask the original question because when I was searching around to find out about my car I came across a web site that had comments from different people who have or still do own the same kind of car as me(97 dodge intrepid, 3.5 litre). The one man said in his comments to e-mail him and he would tell you how to fix your tranny with justy a fluid change and a pair of plyers, but he left no e-mail address. So now I am hoping that someone knows what this man was talking about or that he reads yahoo answers and realizes that I need an answer without spending 800 to 1200 dollars on my tranny. How can I fix my 1997 Dodge Intrepid%26039;s transmission with a fluid change and a pair of plyers?

The pliers are probably to adjust a linkage or change a setting, and the fluid and filter are just regular maintenance. How can I fix my 1997 Dodge Intrepid%26039;s transmission with a fluid change and a pair of plyers?
You can't do it with a pair of PLIERS (see the spelling)

Have someone who knows what they are doing work on it.

Messing around with a pair of pliers and very little knowledge will only make things worse. How can I fix my 1997 Dodge Intrepid%26039;s transmission with a fluid change and a pair of plyers?
the fluid is like the man said just maintenance, the pliers will damage the screws or bolts holding the pan on the transmission, best left to a real mechanicHow can I fix my 1997 Dodge Intrepid%26039;s transmission with a fluid change and a pair of plyers?

well, I don't know about fixing a transmission with a pair of pliers but with 150,000 miles on your tranny I have to ask,,,,,,have you been changing your fluid and filter at regular intervals and using the proper fluid and quality parts??? If not, you are getting exactly what you paid for. Maintenance is the key to happiness. As for the man with the pliers trick,,,,all I can say is look out!
