is it ok to change the transmission fluid.
95 isuzu has 105.000 miles.
fluid in trans is brown.

You dont say if it automatic or stick,, So I will assume its automatic, crawl under with tools and a big catch pan, you need to slowly start on the transmission pan and work your way around letting the fluid run out slow as you go, just make sure to leave a couple bolts in at least halfway so you dont drop the pan and make a mess, it will be very hard to clean up if you do,, Also I suggest finding big pieces of cardboard to stretch out on the ground first, have alot of rags handy just in case, and then after its all out and you clean the pan all out be sure to scrap off the old gasket, and use a very little bit of blue or red gasket sealer every so often on the pan, that will help keep gasket in place when you put it back on, and dont tighten them down very far at all, if your squishing the gasket out its to tight,, If all else fails, go to your nearest Auto Zone and look in the books,
