Dealership vs lube center for transmission flush?

I have read that a flush can harm the engine, but most places only do flushes when changing the transmission fluid including the dealership. So how much does it matter to get it done at the dealership vs a lube center because the dealership is about 2x as much but I don't want to mess my vehicle up.Dealership vs lube center for transmission flush?

Won't harm engine. Both are a rip. But go to lube place. Cheaper. Same job. Easy. Hard to mess up.Dealership vs lube center for transmission flush?
find a shop that drains the the transmission or you could always do it yourself its very easy.Dealership vs lube center for transmission flush?
Since you want to keep the name of your car a secret, it is hard to answer. FIrst of all, the local quicky lube usually only uses a general, universal trans fluid. THIS IS JUNK!!!! All modern cars have specific characteristics that must be met. VW/Audi uses a mineral oil, it's GOLD. Toyota uses Dexron-T. The %26quot;T%26quot; is for Toyota. The dealership will use the correct fluid, filter, and gasket for YOUR particular car. So many people lose the functioning of their transmission after a quicky lube gets a hold of them. The extra money you are spending is to support people that were actually TRAINED to work on YOUR CAR!!! SEE???? Most quicky lube techs have NO formal car education at all.Dealership vs lube center for transmission flush?
year and make of car would help get intelligent answer...most 10 minute lube places do have kids doing the work...
