I think you answered your own question. Replace all fluids including the gas. You may want to flush out the radiator. Don't forget to replace the oil engine with a SAE 10-30 and you should be started off on the right foot. Good luck!About to buy a car that has been sitting for a while?
If he wants more than 1500 for it, I would find something else. If it's under 1500, I would do a 120k service on it, figure around 500 bucks and that includes flushing all the fluids as well as many other items.About to buy a car that has been sitting for a while?
change all fluids like oil, trans, coolant.

i would flush the radiator too.

you might wanna try one of those STP fuel injector cleaner bottles.

make sure the trans fluid filter isnt clogged. (ive seen these clogged trans fluid filters ruin clutches in auto transmissions.)

these are great running trucks good luck hope this helped.About to buy a car that has been sitting for a while?
I guess you should also check insurance quotes for Cherokee before buying one, for example here: http://carquotes.fateback.com

As I rememer it is expensive to insure.
