Transmission Fluid Change: 1994 Acura Vigor?

I want completely drain and refill the ATF, replace the filter and gasket. How do i go about completely draining all of the fluid. The capacity is 2.6 quarts not including the torque converter and 7.6 quarts including the torque converter. Is there a way to drain the rest of the five quarts without removing the torque converter. Where can i locate the drain plug.Transmission Fluid Change: 1994 Acura Vigor?
%26quot;DO%26quot; not try this your self..Go to a %26quot;AT%26quot; specialist %26amp; get them to do this for you..Has to be done with engine running %26amp; under pressure, when all old oil is out %26amp; running clean, they shut it down, replace filter %26amp; sump gasket, then bring it up to factory specs, for the oil fill..Check for leaks, under pressure,if all's well it is good for another 200.000kms..Good luck..Stay well %26amp; enjoy your motoring..Transmission Fluid Change: 1994 Acura Vigor?
Go to Jiffy Lube, for about 89.95 they will attach a fitting to your transmission cooler line and with the engine running and the machine running will pump out all the old fluid and replace it with new fluid... you can even see where the fluid comes out until it finally runs clean and clear/red..It's a fantastic preventive maintenance procedure to save/prolong your transmission and is the onlyw ay to get all the fluid out including what is inside your torque converter...Transmission Fluid Change: 1994 Acura Vigor?
