I have an automatic 1990 Acura Integra. It seems that my gears are shifting late. I guess its the transmission fluid. I want to change my transmission fluid. I've had the car for two years and I don't know if the previous owners ever changed it. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, should I change the transmission filter?How to change transmission fluid?
Check the fluid level according to your owner's manual. You would need Rhino ramps and safety jack stands to do the job and it's VERY messy! At this point I'd recommend you bring it in for a $120 pan service drain as shown below.
